About me:

Addicted to purses Pictures, Images and Photos My name is Ashley, and I live with my husband and 3 beautiful daughters in Okinawa, Japan. I began sewing in the fifth grade after my grandmother passed away from cancer. I then taught myself how to sew on her 1960's Singer. I have been in love with sewing ever since. I started out making clothing for myself and then after graduating from highschool I started focusing more of my attention to sewing. Since then I have made custom bedding for nurseries to King size beds. I have taught myself how to quilt through books and trial and error. I find myself learning more about this art everyday as I challenge myself to try harder tasks. Handbags and totes are what I love to create. Since having my first daughter I have enjoyed making things for infants and kids from nursery decor to accessories. I started my business right before my first daughter was born. I was looking for a way to earn money and still stay home and take care of her. After giving several of my quilts and handbags away people started telling me I should sell them so voila! Since starting it over 3 years ago I have done fairly well, and I have my friends and family to thank!! I have made over a 100 totes and bags from here to the states and even Germany. PCS'ing not a problem I take online orders and can ship it almost anywhere. All my creations are made with top notch materials and on a Viking Sewing/Embroidery Machine and overlocked for durability. I carry a large assortment of Fabrics, much more than what is listed, and if you have something in mind and can't find it let me know and I can special order it. Due to demand I am currently working off of a waitlist, as soon as I am finished with those I can take on more custom orders.     How much are your BDU bags? I have my husband's old BDU's and we are keeping one set but I was thinking of using the other set for a purse cause it has his patches and name and stuff.

    I am sorry to hear he's gone, but this is unfortunately part of the "trade". There are so many other awesome aspects to this lifestyle, so we just have to take the good with the bad. The first time Steven left for that long, it was hard..but I made it...and here I am again..about to head down that aisle again. We can keep each other "company"...feel free to IM me or call if you need support..anytime! Its hard to have "free time" when you have three little ones, that I know..but in those few precious quiet moments...don't let your mind wander, keep as busy as you can..and you'll be fine. I know its hard, but we'll make it through this.

    Well, I like unpacking and setting up...its just isn't so great when you have tons of boxes! My thing is, I hate having it all cluttered...I wish I could just do it in a day..but with three kids and life going on, that is just not feasible! This being the 3rd time of unpacking since we moved here, I am ready to not see anymore boxes!! lol (We had unaccompanied, storage and now accomapanied)
