Sewer System was founded in November 2006. On the one hand it is based on very atmospheric and otherwise also very noisy sounds with sometimes fast beats up to 220BPM.
You can't really say Sewer System is industrial or something else. I think you can't compare this to similar famous projects. The sound is different and individual.
It's a mixture of hardcore, techno, ebm, electro and drum and base elements combined with ambient sounds of deep, lost and old sewers : steel, sweat, water, damp, sluices, dirt, rust, large machines, you can associate with...
It's a step in a new direction to unite the best elements of the classical techno/hardcore with the weird sound of ebm/industrial. These are related styles of music which belong together and shouldn't separate from each other anymore.
The Sound of Sewer System deals with the question how we treat our nature and how our
planet will look like in 50 years. We have created million tons of rubbish and exploited our planet to build great cities and create our surroundings. It´s called civilization, but it has also a very dark side.
