About me:
GETTING TO KNOW YOU...
When asked what I think of tourists in New Orleans, my reply is this: I feel sorry for them. They get one sweaty summer weekend or drunk Mardi Gras to spend here, whereas I get to live here all year long. Also, getting laid in the Big Easy is easier than any other place I've ever lived and lusted. The boys (and girls) come from around the world to drink in our streets and sleep with our women. I'm lucky to be one of those of women and, I have to say, I think I do my city proud.
So, who am I? I've been a student, a drinker, a slacker, a worker, a lover, a girlfriend and now I just am. Between myself and my friends, there isn't a person or thing we haven't done in the bedroom (bathroom, bar, etc.) and our stories contribute to the mystique and sensuality that seduces people to New Orleans.
But who hears our side of the story? We stay here, with your taste in our mouths, our lips rough from your kisses, our hair smelling of beer and cigarettes. We wash our sheets and pick up the condom wrappers from the floor. Your names, if we knew them, fade, but we'll remember whether your back was hairy or you left teeth marks or whether, as was the case most recently for me, you only had that one ball. Yep, go ahead and leave, go back to Little Rock or Biloxi, San Francisco, Atlanta, wherever you're from. We'll talk about you when you're gone.
