Steve Bones in his tight leather Jean's is the opposite end of the scale to fatty Jones! But with his trade mark Gibson & an eye for the girls, he plays, as Steve Diggle of the 'Buzzcocks' said of him, "A crashing guitar sound Steve Jones can be proud of..!"
Paul Crook drives the whole thing along relentlessly with the powerhouse of his solid, pounding, drumming. Always late, but never missing a beat, & never missing a gig in 8yrs.! Sat proudly behind his Union Jack drum-kit flying the flag for the Sex Pistols Experience.!
Then there's Nancy, usually knocking about somewhere causing trouble, can usually be found selling off T-shirts at the merch stall, sometime's the band manage to get away without telling her there's a gig tonight!! So she's not always there! But you can catch her on the T.V screen in the 'Who killed nancy? Dvd. And if you want to stay on the right side of her - a Vodka & coke will do it.!

Whilst on tour in the U.S.A the band were invited as 'special guests' on 'Jonesy's Jukebox' - the acclaimed radio show of Pistols guitarist Steve Jones. Spending the afternoon being interviewed & playing a few favorite Pistols songs live on air together to million's of listeners throughout Los Angeles & Orange County, & across the Worldwide web.!
Pistols Bassist Glen Matlock guested on the same bill in Liverpool at the only ever u.k Sex Pistols convention day, commenting:- "A lot of fun - the cheeky buggers!!"
The Grandaddy of Punk, & infamous leader 'Johnny (Rotten) Lydon' himself gave the final seal of approval in 2008 at the Sex Pistols Hammersmith aftershow party in London when our own 'Johnny Rotter jnr' & 'Johnny Rotten snr' finally came face to face.! Mutual respect was shown all around... "Well good f'kin' luck with it" - Lydon said as they parted.
Sid Vicious's guitarist 'Steve Dior' performed with them on stage at London's legendary 100 Club, and the band regularly tour with Ed Tenpole Tudor, star of the Sex Pistols film ‘The Great Rock n Roll Swindle’.
On 24th August 2008 'The Sex Pistols Experience' performed to their biggest crowd to date at the Trutnov festival, Czech Republic, some 20,000+ fans went nuts to the Pistols music - performed by the undisputed Worlds No1 Sex Pistols tribute show band ... here's a little clip off youtube:-

We had an amazing evening on 20th March - fulfilling a long held ambition to perform the Longhorns Ballroom in Dallas Texas, one of only 2 surviving venues from the ill fated January 1978 Sex Pistols U.S.A tour (with Sid on bass), the other venue being Cains Ballroom in Tulsa (we performed there on our 1st USA tour in jan 06') The good people who organise the annual 'Mods V's Rockers' Biker/Scooter festival in Dallas saw the perfect opportunity to re-create some local Rock'n'Roll history by inviting us over to Dallas Texas to headline the weekends event on Friday 20th March. (Big thanks to 'Mark & Dave' & everyone else for all you did for us!)
Upon arrival in the venue on the Thursday we were told the old backdrop with the 'Longhorns' logo had long since dropped to bits due to a leaky roof, after watching the Pistols longhorns live VHS film for the last 30+yrs we wouldn;t feel the gig was complete without the backdrop. So, we went out & bought some gloss white paint, 4 paint brushes, a case of Lone Star beer, put 'Never mind the Bollocks' through the P.A, & set about re-painting the old logo onto the back of the stage once more, to get the look just right for the up-coming Dvd!..
Then when we finished our handywork (at 2am) & after a good few beers, we signed our artwork to leave our own little bit of history as a setting for all future shows to perform infront of...
So the Sounds of the Sex Pistols echoed around the Longhorns Ballroom once more - 31yrs, 2 months & 10 days after the Pistols had performed there, & what a load of fun we had...
The 'Sex Pistols Experience' 1st tour of South America (Brazil) was completed during August 08. The band had a fantastic time on the road travelling thousands of miles & meeting the many Pistols fans - who are no-longer just myspace cyber friends! All tour dates were completed & many a great night out was had by everyone -everywhere.! We look forward to returning to Brazil in future. The press & T.v news teams followed the band around the country looking for stories, despite being banned from coming into the venues some slipped by security & caught up with the band on couple of nights & filmed this for Brazillian TV news...
The Sex Pistols have always had the association with Brazil (Rio) a few days after the band split-up in San Fransisco - january 1978, Cook'n'Jones took off to have some fun in the sun with 'Great Train Robber' Ronnie Biggs - where between them they managed to produce their biggest selling single still under the 'Sex Pistols' banner - 'No one is Innocent' - A Punk Prayer, perhaps better known for its 'B Side' Sid's version of 'My Way'. So the 'Sex Pistols Experience' figured, after a few beers & suffering sun-stroke spending the day on Rio's Copacabana Beach, that whilst they were in town they'd reproduce the party atmosphere at the show in Rio De Janeiro that night & perform a one-off version of 'No-one is innocent' - raising the roof for Ronnie once again in Rio.!

We had an amazing evening on 20th March - fulfilling a long held ambition to perform the Longhorns Ballroom in Dallas Texas, one of only 2 surviving venues from the ill fated January 1978 Sex Pistols U.S.A tour (with Sid on bass), the other venue being Cains Ballroom in Tulsa (we performed there on our 1st USA tour in jan 06') The good people who organise the annual 'Mods V's Rockers' Biker/Scooter festival in Dallas saw the perfect opportunity to re-create some local Rock'n'Roll history by inviting us over to Dallas Texas to headline the weekends event on Friday 20th March. (Big thanks to 'Mark & Dave' & everyone else for all you did for us!)
Upon arrival in the venue on the Thursday we were told the old backdrop with the 'Longhorns' logo had long since dropped to bits due to a leaky roof, after watching the Pistols longhorns live VHS film for the last 30+yrs we wouldn;t feel the gig was complete without the backdrop. So, we went out & bought some gloss white paint, 4 paint brushes, a case of Lone Star beer, put 'Never mind the Bollocks' through the P.A, & set about re-painting the old logo onto the back of the stage once more, to get the look just right for the up-coming Dvd!..
Then when we finished our handywork (at 2am) & after a good few beers, we signed our artwork to leave our own little bit of history as a setting for all future shows to perform infront of...
So the Sounds of the Sex Pistols echoed around the Longhorns Ballroom once more - 31yrs, 2 months & 10 days after the Pistols had performed there, & what a load of fun we had...
The 'Sex Pistols Experience' 1st tour of South America (Brazil) was completed during August 08. The band had a fantastic time on the road travelling thousands of miles & meeting the many Pistols fans - who are no-longer just myspace cyber friends! All tour dates were completed & many a great night out was had by everyone -everywhere.! We look forward to returning to Brazil in future. The press & T.v news teams followed the band around the country looking for stories, despite being banned from coming into the venues some slipped by security & caught up with the band on couple of nights & filmed this for Brazillian TV news...
The Sex Pistols have always had the association with Brazil (Rio) a few days after the band split-up in San Fransisco - january 1978, Cook'n'Jones took off to have some fun in the sun with 'Great Train Robber' Ronnie Biggs - where between them they managed to produce their biggest selling single still under the 'Sex Pistols' banner - 'No one is Innocent' - A Punk Prayer, perhaps better known for its 'B Side' Sid's version of 'My Way'. So the 'Sex Pistols Experience' figured, after a few beers & suffering sun-stroke spending the day on Rio's Copacabana Beach, that whilst they were in town they'd reproduce the party atmosphere at the show in Rio De Janeiro that night & perform a one-off version of 'No-one is innocent' - raising the roof for Ronnie once again in Rio.!

We enjoy what we do, & have lots of fun doing it along the way, & we hope you do too by coming along to the gigs, but we know its not to everyones taste -& fair enough.! (So don't come!?) But don't just take our word for it, Here's what some of the fan's have said recently...
- "They were absolutely brilliant! Live, loud and superb! This has to be the ultimate 'Sex Pistols' tribute and the best in the punk genre. Mannerisms, abuse, clothing, performance on stage. They don't take themselves seriously but really play out the character roles so much so next stop "Sex Pistols - The Musical!" and these are the guys to do it! What a show! What a night! This is one performance I will certainly remember for a long time. It was fun, it was entertaining and we loved it! If there is tribute band I recommend you must see then it is "The Sex Pistols Experience" and I've been an ABBA fan for most of my life! This punk band has left such a lasting impression that I will see them again and again without hesitation.
