We can be here ALL DAY...just take my word for it. I read a lot. My favorite authors are Keith Lee Johnson, Zane, Victoria Christopher Murray, Connie Briscoe to name a few.
Who I'd like to meet: Hello my Myspace friends, family, foes and stalkers alike. LOL I have various names that my friends call me but YOU can call me Jey. Despite my outspoken, overly confident self I still find it hard to describe myself or write about myself. So I’m going to take a stab at it and see if it helps you to determine the need to continue on this journey with me.
My basic stats are below and you can tell from my pictures that I’m a lovely, thick and confident LADY. Any female can call herself a woman but it takes a special someone to call herself a LADY and that’s exactly what I am. I love to laugh. Having a GREAT TIME and LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST is my motto. I’m all about having no regrets. However in having no regrets my biggest pet peeve is RESPECT. To get to know me and be included in my circle you will find that I’m a LOYAL friend. I love to travel and shop. My fashionable passions are shoes and handbags. But when I grow up, my dream is to become a successful entrepreneur in the entertainment/social scene. Because I love to entertain, my heart of heart passion is become an Event Planner/Wedding Coordinator. I’m on the proper path to making that dream come true so a sistah is on her grind.
In a nutshell, I believe I’m a good person with a heart of gold. However I do like everyone, have an ugly side and when that is revealed you can say it’s a wrap. I’ve come a long way from how I used to be and I try to stay clear of the BS and drama of others. The one thing that I’ve learned is that people will only do what THEY want to do. They can have the best of interests but they are entitled to make choices in their life and whether it results in a negative or positive outcome, it’s their choice. So I will leave you with something that stands true so greatly in my life. I hope to hear from you soon. Peace and Blessings, JEY
It Is Better To Be Alone, Than In the Wrong Company
Tell me who your best friends are, and I will tell you who you are. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. "A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses." The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad.
The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you. Consider this:
* Never receive counsel from unproductive people.
* Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person.
* Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere. With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it.
* Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life.
* Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.
Holly, We might be coming back your way. They were trying to send us to Fort Wainwright, ALASKA but he managed to get out of that assignment. He put in a request for Fort Belvoir, VA or Fort Meade, MD. Hope to see you at the first of the year!!!
Hey Holly! How are you? Girl, I am trying to come your way to take my baby shopping...lol. The shopping seemed so much better up there. The malls are boring in Fort Worth.
