My name is Helen Pham and I am passionate about art. As a child I would partake is artistic activities on my free time and never imagined even having a career in the arts. As my activities progressed, I got more and more involved in different art projects. At some point, one of my artistic ventures became widely recognized, which ultimately transpired into a career. As a result, I became the designer and founder of Simply Savvy Aprons. On my free time, I continue to work on various artistic projects. I have dabbled into painting, photography, jewelry design, lighting design, interior design and graphic design. I own a United States Patent for a Sunshield and have ideas for a few others. The idea behind my current patent is to protect one’s face from the sun without discomfort and the feeling of suffocation from the heat. Often times people would lie on the beach and use a towel or an article of clothing to shield their face. This sunshield will be a collapsible awning that hovers over your head. It will have embedded speakers so that one can listen to music while enjoying the sun. The sunshield will be small enough to take almost anywhere.
