About me:

I'm Tamara L. Jack from a small village called Angoon off of Admiralty Island. I'm considered an easy person to get along with. I'm full blooded TLINGIT that was braught into this world the month of a cold December day in the mid 1980's. Along with a twin. Yup, there is two of me. Now just me. I have 5 siblings. There is Brian Lee, he's the oldest. People see him different but that's because he was hit by a train and a hit and run by a stupid Seattle City Cop. But he is a survivor. Then there is Kurt Albert, he is tearing it up in Sacramento, California. He started his life over. He is a strong Christian. He has a beautiful wife and 5 beautiful kids-Timothy is the oldest, then Bradley then Tina. Then Kurt, he was the baby for the longest time. Then baby Noah just recently came into the picture. My baby Tina made us grandparents by having her own little baby, Angelina. Making my parents GREAT GRANDPARENTS. Then there is my brother Thomas Adam, he is the middle child. Two older brothers and two younger sisters. He served in the U.S. Navy proudly. I'm so proud of him. He endured a lot in the pass years, yet he knows to have a smile on his face. He has a wife and 3 step kids, Devonne-she's almost on her own now. Then Demetri-who is tearing it up in Juneau. Then there is Tyler-whom is with his father up in Anchorage. Then Thomas had his two little one- Luke Adam, as I took as my own son. Then there is Angel Lena, who is just the cutest. Then there is Abigail-whom is my twin sister. If you were to guess the age diffence between, nature you would say maybe a minute or so. But no, wrong answer. I turned side ways. Stopping my mother's labor. Then I turned head down. I was born an hour and 47 minutes after my twin. Yup. Long time. I was almost a day younger. I was born 13 minutes to midnight. But as of today, I'm tearing things up in Juneau, alaska. Not an easy thing to do. Dealing with drama. I'm trying to handle it. But I tend to just want to avoid it. I joined the U.S. Army. So the less drama I deal with, the faster I can expand my harizons. I have a few jobs. Not entire;y the best but it's money. People know me as this workaholic. But I've worked all my life. At the age of 17, I was working with EMS, Fire Department, and Search & Rescue. Did those until I was 20. I help run a local tv station. I taught two computer classes. So at the age of 20, I was co-captain in SAR and up there on the line in FD. I worked and help special ed. students. I worked hard to make a good resume. People say it cost me a lot of fun others has. But what they were doing wasn't in my heart to do. I'll admit I started drinking before I was of age. I ran into problems I couldn't cope with and others didn't understand so that's why drinking came into my life. Then soon I put my emotions into it. Then I started doing it to fit in and socailize. Then I realized it was becoming a problem. So I slowed down and changed my view on drinking. I tried giving it up. Then Jan. of 2009, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She was sent to Seattle, Washington. I went down by her a day following her diagnose. Doctors caught it too late. There was nothing they can do. So I braught my mother back to Juneau, Alaska. If anyone knows me really, I took care of my mother all my life. The morning of March 27, 2009, she fell down while going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. So my father and I took her to the hospital at 4 in the morning. Thanks to my homegirl Kiara who drove me there. By 5, the doctors told my father and I that at this stage was going to go by fast. So we had to call the family in to say there final Good byes. Was the hadrest calls for me to do with my family. By 6, my alot of my family was there. I didn't want to except my mother was going. At that moment, I still thought we had plenty of time with her. Family and friends begin to gather. I fell asleep after getting weak in the knees. By 8, my family came to tell me it was time to say good bye. My mother was praising God up unntil she couldn't talk anymore. When I appeared by my mother, I grabbed her hand. I was amazed how many people where there. I looked at my mom and began to cry. I bend over to kiss her, then I told her, "Mom, it's ok. We love you mom. It's ok to go home. You don't have to hang on anymore. It's ok to go home. We love you." Saying those words hurt me the most. She started breathing slower and slower. By 8:30, she took her last breathe.
