About me:
Hi, I'm Josh. Welcome to my MySpace page for SFAbooks.com. I started SFAbooks.com a while ago. I want it to become the ultimate source for SFA students to trade textbooks. It is my goal to make an impact on the way college textbooks are bought and sold around here.
Here's how it works. Instead of buying and selling books at the bookstores, students buy and sell books directly to each other by posting ads on this website. Since most books are reused every semester, the bookstores are merely a middleman. The point of this web site is to simply cut them out of the equation.
Sure, you might go to some big trading website to sell your books, but then you have to worry about shipping. With SFAbooks.com, you keep it local. And you don't have to worry about weirdos from all over the country contacting you... just the local wierdos.
Let's suppose you buy a used book from one of your local friendly bookstores for $100. When buy-back time rolls around at the end of the semester, you might be offered $20 for this same book. This offer seems unacceptable so you post your book on this website and sell it to another student for $70. You just made $50 more than what the bookstore was going to give you. Not only did you make some extra cash, but the student that bought the book from you saved $30. This idea can work! Like it, hate it... let me know what you think.
