Acacia is a California based band who are influenced by a wide variety of contemporary and traditional music. Opening for bands as diverse as Fishbone, Sons of Champlin, The Benevento/Russo Duo and The Jazz Mandolin Project, Acacia blends their collective influences into a style that is accessible yet all their own. They have performed high energy shows at many festivals on the west coast and have headlined such venues as the Galaxy Theater and the Coach House in Southern California.
Acacia strives to create original and inspiring songs that lift and compel the listener with vocal harmonies, strong grooves and swelling jams, allowing for a complete musical experience. The interplay between members can be as soft and warm as candle light or as raging and rebellious as a wildfire. Come check them out and "open up that door, travel through, for a while, just so you can explore..."
