Even The Odd band has only been around only a short while, but is making huge waves in the area. With 5 veteran musicians at the helm and tons of gig time, you shouldnt expect any less. Band Members Info:
Chris Seymour (Lead Vocals/Keyboards/Guitar)
Chris is from Plattsburgh, where he played in the music industry semi-professionally since he was 13. Chris learned to play piano at a young age and took piano lessons for 6 years before switching to guitar. Piano just wasn't Rock n roll enough.
He played in many bands from the Plattsburgh area in the late 70's and into the 80's. He was part of the house band at the Office Bar for a couple of years. Eventually life would bring him on the road in the mid 80's for several years in such bands like, NY Asylum, Section 8 and Rokken. Moving back to Plattsburgh and then moving to the Albany area in the mid 90's. He was playing with the band Dr. X before he moved South to Albany. Since that time he has played in such bands as DaVinci, Jukebox Heroes, Joe Mama Band and Meltdown. Now he shares duties between 2 bands, Meltdown and Even The Odd.
Some of Chris's influences include Dennis DeYoung (Styx), Jonathan Caine and Greg Rollie, (Journey), David Bryan (Bon Jovi), VanHalen, & Reo Speedwagon.
Don lackey (Lead Guitar/Vocals)
Hailing from Glens Falls, NY Don has been Playing the guitar for more than 25 years now. Don being very versed in all different musical styles, has played in rock, metal, and jazz bands. His musical tastes and influences, however, extend beyond into many other kinds of music including classical, country, and movie scores.
In the late 80's and early 90's he played in the band "Blitzen". It was in that band that he had the opportunity to write and play original material as well as open for bands such as Lynch Mob, Foghat, EZO, and XYZ. He left Blitzen in '92 and became a music major where he studied guitar. Since then he has played in various bands including The Sequel and Jukebox Heroes with Chris. Don's influences are Randy Rhodes, Jake E. lee, Neal Schon. Don also plays keyboards and Bass Guitar.
Larry LaGasse (Bass/Vocals)
Larry comes to us from Saranac Lake NY, He began playing and singing when he was sixteen. He was a founding member of “Nitro”, a Saranac Lake-based, three-piece band known for its solid grooves and well-blended harmony.
In addition to playing bass and singing, Larry plays acoustic, electric guitar, and twelve-string guitar. He loves to hold the bottom down while contributing to the band’s three-part harmony. His influences include Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Yes, Queen, Crosby Stills and Nash, Led Zeppelin, and many more. He was also inspired by the New York area bands 805 and Double Axel.
Larry returns to the music scene after a 25 year hiatus. He has been blessed by the support of many of his Saranac Lake Friends in the past year, through correspondence and attendance of the shows. Special thanks to Joel, Sue, Kathy, Annie, David, Rick, Joanne, Kelly and Greg. You guys rock.
Bill Minner (Keys/Horns/Guitar/Vocals)
Bill started on trumpet in 1964 at nine years old. He picked up the flute and guitar during his high school years, woodshedded the bass on long, cold Alaska nights at Eielson A.F.B. in the late 70's and early 80's, got a flugelhorn, and eventually started getting serious on the piano and synth in the 90's.
Some of Bill's influences include Miles Davis, Chicago, Doc Severinson, Maynard Ferguson, The Brecker Brothers, Steely Dan, Billy Joel, Buster Hyman & The Penetrators, Chick Corea, Joe Walsh (I.L.B.T.).

Eric Elmore (Percussion)
Eric has been playing in bands since he was 14! Originally from the Plattsburgh New York area, Eric moved to the Queensbury area in February ’06. He has played a wide range of musical styles over the years in bands as far away as California, (Fourplay, Spectra). He’s also played in bands in Quebec Canada, (The Kidnappers), all over Vermont, (Jimmy T and the Cobras), and New York, (Tempest, Voyager, Doctor X, Branded, Railway). With over 35 years of experience, (31 years on stage), Eric loves performing live and keeping the joint jumpin’!
Eric’s rock influences include The Beatles, Rush, Kansas, and Boston among others. He has also played country, country rock, the blues, jazz, and spent 11 years in a theatre group orchestra!
Eric is also the new drummer to Meltdown, The other band that Chris plays in.
And yes, Eric and Chris grew up together.
