I have Backers muscular dystrophy do not know how long I have to live I'm trying to get million friends for Disabled Civil Rights cause goal and short video Added me to your top friends please. Goal to have the Supreme Court Olmstead decision 6 to 3 Law enforced and have community-based programs for all who qualify for med waiver and consumer directed care which will save the taxpayers approximately 50% and provide opportunities for jobs instead of having disabled institutionalized or a nursing home. Also the George W. Bush presidential Executive Order 13217.Which means it has been designated a nationwide problem! To be Moses for all disabled people to remove the yoke the burden on our disabled back and set disabled people free.Keep Rock 'n rolling on!

and when we speak we are afraid
our words will not be heard
    nor welcomed
    but when we are silent
    we are still afraid

So it is better to speak
    remembering
we were never meant to survive

hey i loved that you talked about the jamaica boycott. I noticed the same sign. the thing about LGBT people vacationing in jamaica is that often times these people never leave their resorts, or are subjected to the public in jamaica at all. Once you get the the airport they throw you on a bus that doesnt stop until it gets past the (very large) walls and gates of jamaican resorts. Here LGBT people are isolated from the brunt of the homophobia in Jamaica. There are even fences on the beach where local Jamaicans will hang over and try to sell you drugs! The isolation of the resorts is good (because they dont get attacked) and bad cuz American LGBT people are using their privilege and class to vacation in a foreign country where most of the people there don't have access to employment, healthcare, shelter, and even food (basic human needs). Meanwhile local Jamaicans are watching these rich (probably mostly white) queer people milking their native lands. Which is no excuse for the blatant homophobia (and total misogyny) present in Jamaica. I read that their police dont take any violence against LGBT people seriously. I'm guessing our goal in this fight would be to teach tolerance and acceptance, i'm wondering how we are doing that by boycotting their products. Certainly it will bring attention to the issue, but whats the next step? i dunno. just thinking.
