About me:

Hello all my name is Samantha. I am 17 years old,18 in November (2010). I am a Senior in high school, i attend Clair Burgener Academy. I reside in Oceanside California. I am in a wonderful relationship with a man named Isidro, who has supported me since day one. I owe him a lot of thanks for being there regardless of anything.

I have been taking photos ever since i could walk. I got serious about photography when i was about 12/13 years old. I started off shooting my brothers band practice, shows, and just them. And then started experimenting with friends. And then when i was 13 i started shooting different people, i didn't know.I got my first camera back in about late 2004 early 2005. That was the Finepix s9000. In the Beginning of 2009 i got my first real DSLR camera my Canon Rebel XSI.

My photography equipment. I shoot with my Canon Rebel XSI, with the 18-55mm and the 75-300mm lenses. I have a tripod, 1filter,and a reflector. I have no fancy lighting. I have the sun which works perfectly for me. I also do NOT have photoshop. I edit my photos with flickr :) which works perfectly for me. I make do with what i got.

Photography is amazing, in every aspect of it. I get inspired by a lot of things. Staring out a window seeing the people outside walking. Or seeing the local punk sitting on the bus playing his guitar. I like to make my photos look more realistic. Themed photoshoots are fun but i like shooting more candid, happy photoshoots. As well as emotional sad,depressed out there photos. I like photos with meanings behind them more then just seeing a beautiful women/girl just standing there.

I am an Aspiring photojournalist. I have a lot of dreams and goals for my life. One of them is to make a book with photos of all kinds of images of people and not just of the beautiful models in this world. But with real people. Beauty isn't just on the outside. I want to capture the beauty of every human being. The people you wouldn't even pay attention to on the street or do a double take on. The real people.

I am always looking for new people to take photos of. So check out my blog if you would like to do a photoshoot. I don't care about age,size, or anything. Everyone is beautiful and handsome unless there personality says otherwise.
