Based in the UK but with founders from both UK & the US, Support for healing started in 2004 as a forum based peer to peer support website mainly for people with depression or related issues.

Since opening its doors to the worldwide public www.supportforhealing.com has continued to grow and extend the support to cover many subjects and we are always willing to attempt to accomodate the needs of those who join us!
Our moderated message board provides a safe environment for peer to peer support. Topics range from the serious to the fun and light hearted. Each & everyone of us is there through our own experiences in life or because of the experiences of those around us.
Whilst exploring the internet Zafu (co founder of SFH) found Secondlife a online virtual world and set about opening Support For healing island which now runs regular support groups within the virtual home of secondlife.
Centering Place is a Sim Set up as a get away from all the hustle and bustle of SL. It is designed to be a quiet atmosphere with sounds of nature all around and is meant to be explored.
Centering Place Sim & website is based in Canada and is founded by Amaya Summers.
Centering Place & Support for healing are working together in a bid to make a difference, offering a public library and resource center in Secondlife.
