About me:
The Blog is to let everyone know what SF INDIEFEST is doing. The Friends and Comments are a portal to an evolving Temporary Autonomous Zone brimming with diverse, thought-provoking, creative individuals and groups. It's a collage: an interactive, chaotic, multi-media 'festival' of tremendously entertaining film, music, comedy, art, philosophy, unique people and general weirdness. SF INDIEFEST is a non-profit organization that presents the SAN FRANCISCO INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL, ANOTHER HOLE IN THE HEAD and the SAN FRANCISCO DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL, and A MIGHTY RUCKUS: a day-long all ages rock concert on two stages with an attached film/art/classic car show.
We like entertaining and provocative work, and involve ourselves in all kinds of other one-off weird things.

Who I'd like to meet: People in the San Francisco Bay Area looking for a good time; adventurous surfers looking for cool myspace links; filmmakers, artists, virtual clones, authors, fictional characters, philosophers, cognitive dissidents, food and drink, politicians, inanimate objects, fashionistas, dead people, radicals, musicians, occultists, publishers and super-freaks who will help make the SF IndieFest space even more interesting than it already is. We are particularly interested in selecting and providing a diverse, entertaining, informative and provocative selection of friends. We invite you to surf a random page and meet a few of the 7000+ friendly cool people (and things) who are contributing to the discussion. Please stay long enough to drop in on a couple spaces and listen to a song, watch a video, read their blog and check out their friends. The comments that get posted everywhere are worth checking out as well. Information wants to be free. "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted"

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I came across some stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, the fundamentals are still relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
