About me: Welcome to the Official San Francisco Smashing Pumpkins fan page! It was born in December 2006, along with dozens of other city/country pages affiliated with the main MySapce Smashing Pumpkins page. Though it nominally geared towards Pumpkins fans throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area (and Northern California), our page is really for Pumpkinheads everywhere. We are, after, just one large extended Pumpkins family. So please feel free to beFriend us. Over the past five years, I've seen Billy play with Zwan in 2003 at the Warfield, on the Future Embrace tour in 2005 at the fabled Fillmore, 7 times with the reassembled Smashing Pumpkins (featuring Ginger, Jeff, and Lisa, who gel really well with Billy and Jimmy) during the historic Fillmore Residency in July 2007, and most recently (Oct. 26, 2008) at Neil Young's all-acoustic Bridge School Bendefit (where the band debuted two new songs ~ Owata and Song for a Son All these shows were filled with magic, memories, and Pumpkins kinship and camaraderie
Hey Harry! I am scraping up out of My Personal Hell that is nursing school, and am happy to say I will be done... FOR GOOD... in May! I am excited to put my energies into some serious pumpkin love this summer, and I can't wait to plan a meet-up! How have you been?
Hey Harry, Yep, I watched the video of Billy testifying before congress and I learned a lot. Have you heard any more on why Jimmy left the band? I'm hoping to get out to a show in SF.
Hey, what's up! This is the drummer from the band Under Red that sent you a request a few days ago. Just wanted to say thanks for accepting us. I recently just saw the Smashing Pumpkins at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis and the show was amazing. Very intense!!! No one can out drum Jimmy Chamberlin. Pumpkins Fans Unite. Peace!
aww wow that was seriously one of the nicest comments ever left for me! Thank you so much for the compliment! I'm still not totally happy with my layout but at least I have it decorated for the season LOL! Thats awesome you got to see them. I tried to make it to any of the Chicago shows but apparentely it wasn't meant to be. I saw them in August in Orlando though and that was cool. How did you enjoy the show? I'm hearing so many people talk crap while I didn't get to go and it's sad! Brandi
Ah thanks a million for saying so Harry :) & for taking the time out to listen (there's a lot of people on here who accept requests without ever looking at a profile!) so I really appreciate your time :) I love U2 but the Pumpkins are number one for me :D I wish I could have gone to the show the other night, sounds like I missed a great one!! Well, take care & put some ice on that head!! :) All the best, Roy :D
