Last year's convention was nothing less than a success! Individuals from all over the U.S. and Southern California joined to share a love for an instrumental brand of music inspired by surf, sand, sun, and the reverb tank! Vendors, musicians, and attendees spent hours listening and playing the music that marked its place in history as "surf music."
Due to the overwhelming response to year one, Jeff "bigtikidude" Hanson has collaborated with some amazing musicians and historians to bring you the second annual Surf Guitar 101 Convention. This year features incredible bands and an array of vendors:

"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
