I'm an author with a special interest in writing books and articles for teen girls. I launched my blog for teen girls, Smart Girls Know in February 2007 as a place to connect and interact with girls everywhere to talk about life, love, friendship, health, emotions and everything in between. Smart Girls Know features weekly "smart girls know affirmations," a look at hot topics in the news that are relevant to teen girls, behind-the-scenes looks at my current projects, an opportunity for teen girls to share their own thoughts about issues affecting their lives, and a direct link to communicating with me.
Prior to writing In Their Shoes, I co-authored the new series from Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, The Real Deal and more than a dozen Blue’s Clues books.
I also write the regular column "Truth & Consequences" for the junior high lifestyle magazine, SIX78th.
Who I'd like to meet: Teen girls who want to change the world!
Hey! I'm in the middle of reading you book right now, and it's really good. :] I got it in the mail on the day before exams... when I was home sick. From stressing myself out so much. So this book was definetly needed! :]
Hi Debbie, I hope NYC was a blast. I had a ball and they had to pry me outta there. Usually not the case. ;) Let's get together again this summer. xoxo, Michelle
