Thanks to everyone who emailed asking
about Caprice.
Caprice doesn't present the kids show anymore. She had been asking
for her own dance show since last year but the station gave the
slot to someone else. She was told that the kids show was stopping
for
a while and Caprice was asked if she wanted to do another show.
She went over and recorded it. She was listening with her friends
on
the Saturday but the station never played
it.
I saw in the Evening Times that
another kid had been put forward for an award for presenting
the Kids Show. This kid has only
presented a few shows and he was put up for an award by the
station. Caprice was presenting in the studio every Saturday
for the last couple of years except when she was on holiday.
She also went to all events that the station was attending.
She was never put up for an award by the station. The local
newspapers picked up on her talent and she was in a lot of
daily newspapers and she was also featured on Newsround for
her talents at presenting radio shows. I also noticed that
the link to the Newsround page has been taken off the stations
website.
I also heard that a member of staff
at the station said that the kids show wasn't just about
Caprice.
She was the only kid who took the time to go over every Saturday
to present it.
Kids have come and went but no other kids have committed themselves
to the show on a weekly basis.

She has been recording a special
Alabama 3 show, a kids music show and a dance remix show.
There will
also be some interviews
with the Alabama 3 and live appearances by the band as the
Alabama 3 are really good friends with Caprice. She has introduced
them on stage at two music festivals in the Highlands.
Caprice will also be performing at a music festival in Wales.
