I am a professional studio artist working in 3D using a variety of materials including copper, brass, aluminum mesh and clay. I also teach mask-making workshops to children and adults.
My work has been exhibited in galleries, used in theater productions and commissioned for outdoor use in a meditation garden. I have also created one of a kind masks for clients to wear to masked balls and for use on stage.
One of my favorite mediums is copper. I work in the traditional repousse' style creating both free-standing and wall-hung sculptural landscapes as well as ethnic portraits. I have incorporated repousse' as one of the elements in my Shapeshifter multi-media box series, which also includes a clay sculpture, aluminum-painted mask and an original short story. The picture in the profile is one of the Shapeshifter series entitled, "Polar Bear".
"The Seasons" is another series just completed which features a unique combination of metal and paint. Each season - Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer - stands about 3 feet high and is sculpted out of metal mesh.

Who I'd like to meet:
I already have a website so I see MySpace as a way to network with more people who are interested in art. This can include art discussions, design, exhibiting and collecting.
