Some may say Shite! But hopefully something like Early Dr FEELGOOD. The Wilko & Brilleaux era
Formed 5 years ago, By Dave & Graham, after going to see the current line up of Dr feelgood in Bradford, Graham had a guitar lesson after the gig, by Steve Walwyn, The Feelgoods Guitar player on how to play the opening to Roxette, so we got this and a couple more songs off, and started going down to the Local Jam night, the Feelgood stuff went down a storm as nobodyelse was playing it. After a lot of encouragement we finally decided to get a Drummer and Gob Iron player. We found Dave our drummer in a skip just outside Penistone, and then Crabbers, who has played Harmonica for years with various bands, including the Famous (in Brighouse) Cosmic Egg and aptly named Blood Sweat And Beers came on board. We play mainly in Pubs (Preferably Real Ale) In Yorkshire. We have Played the Burnley Blues Festival for the last 4 Years. We dont take ourselves too seriously, It started out as a bit of fun and we want to keep it that way. We go out to enjoy ourselves have our own personal Mid life crisis and play Fun Music, or as we like to describe it Rhythm & Blues with BALLS!

Hi Dave (Wilko's), thanks for the add. Saw your comment on Back Porch Band myspace. Yes we played Mechanics at Burnley downstairs, our first visit, we had a brilliant time, great audience, and our style of blues was really well received. We couldn't have asked for more. Best wishes The Harpman
Best wishes from The Creek - Glad to have you as a friend here on myspace. The great thing about myspace is that you can link up with kindred spirits!.
"Here's something a bit different. These guys are heavily influenced by Rory Gallagher, Status Quo and early 70's British bluesy hard rock. They've got a great groove in the rhythm section, a fine guitarist in Guy Rosewall, and their album 'Bullfrog Blues' is recommended! The album includes a rockin' take on Rory's "Seven Days". Definitely not another SRV clone"
"The band is driven beautifully by Terry Brown on drums and Tim Chapple on bass, the latter laying down a stomping beat on every number.......... on the showing of this album I would strongly recommend them" (Ian McKenzie - Blues In The South).
ROCKING THE BLUES WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER GROOVE – THIS ENGLISH TRIO TAKE THE RORY GALLAGHER / HENDRIX BLUEPRINT AND BRING IT KICKING AND SCREAMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU.
Have a read of the blog regarding the festival! A more central venue would have been better but Nigel is a top man and good luck to him for keeing the blues alive!
Good news Dave. This photo just arrived. Taken by one of the "Boot Police" whilst on patrol recently. We can all breath a sigh of relief that the situation is now under control.
Hy Guys it's an honour to be on your presentation picture. Many thanks. We are going to organize another tour in UK for late september.I'll let you know where we will play so we should have another night together. Ciao
