Biography:
Shackles was a death/thrash heavy metal band formed in Sydney, Australia in the year 2000. The first half of their existence was littered with line-up changes and foul deeds too obscure for words.
In 2005 the band issued their debut demo 'Orgy of corpses'. This was followed by several releases in subsequent years, leading up to 2009's 'Traitors' gate' LP. Shortly after the release of this heavy metal tour-de-force the band was laid to rest.
Over the years, Shackles was a sometimes regular fixture on the live scene, playing shows in most major cities of Australia. They supported overseas acts such as Grave (swe), Denial of God (den), Defiled (jap) and Toxic Holocaust (usa), as well as sharing the stage with the cream of the local underground.
The Devil takes the high road. Shackles took the low road.

I'm the same, "loud guitars and heavy metal thunder" only my guitar playing skills are minimal, so I attempt in making the most depressive music possible without relying on guitar. Maybe you might like my other band "Mona's Lament" better. We are waiting til our recording is finished before putting some tunes up on our page. But it's pretty mean stuff (in a doomy kinda way)

hehehe yeah it was a really good gig, I really enjoyed all 3 bands, my knees are bruised from not budging from the front during GOTH, being pushed and shoved all around but I'm used to it, worth the bruises . Im not sure I can death growl to Brad but Damon might be able to growl in some description lol. You guys need to come visit sometime, I'm sure Kats would love it too.
