Shackleton is a band that emerged out of the wreckage of several other Salt Lake bands and side projects. It's members have played with Even Lower, The Combatants and Racket among others, and also currently shares members with Left for Dead and Repeat Offender.
Shackleton is a powerful three piece made up of Dave S. on guitar, Nate on Bass and Dave M. on drums. They have often surprised people by the amount of depth and volume they create with just three members. Rather than persuing a specific style, Shackleton's sound is a mixture of each individual's style and influences.
Shackleton released a 6 song EP in 2006 available through Snocap
They are currently recording their first full length album, due out in Fall of 2008

So guess what? We have two really great shows coming up, and we sure
would love it if you could make it to one of them. They split up into
two nice groups, OVER 21 and UNDER 21. So for the big kids, its on Aug.
26th at club vegas (445 s. 400 w.) you can get those tickets from us,
just message back if interested and we will set something up that way.
Its going to be a really great show. We are opening for some touring
punk/rockabilly bands called the phenomenauts and the Re-Volts.
Under 21 is going to be at the Outer Rim (996 s. Redwood Rd.) on Aug
29th You can also get tickets to that from us as well, those ones
should be 8$ and I'm not sure about the Vegas show, so message us so we
can keep track of everyone who wants to come and get tickets to
everyone. Also, if you don't know what we are like live, we have full
song videos (a whole bunch) up in our video section, so be sure to
check those out. We also have recordings, and for all the people who
have seen us before, we are dropping out a couple brand new songs at
both shows, so make sure you make it to atleast one of them!
