Influences
Since all of us have different upbringings and different taste we all have different influnces, but I am sure all of us are influenced by life itself. Life brings about the best and worse in all of us and when we spill it out on the track its always fire no matter what the haters may say about it.
If i had to name a few musical influences I would have to go with the pioneers of the rap game like Curtis Blow and Sugar Hill Gang cuz they really got it all started. NWA brought the gangsta rap persona into the light and 2Pac and Biggie did alot for the hip-hop nation period. Nas, Jay-Z, Methodman, and many other rappers that have been out for a while now have all paved the way for yourng artist such as ourselves.
Eminem broke the race barrier with his talents and has opened the door for many artist (though some people like Benzino claim its just another white guy trying to take over the black mans world).
All in all this quote about music by Marsha Norman explains musics influence,"There are things that music can do that language could never do, that painting can never do, or sculpture. Music is capable of going directly to the source of the mystery. It doesn't have to explain it. It can simply celebrate it."
