Hi and welcome here! We are Shade Tree and come from Gothenburg, Sweden. We play pop music - at least we hope to get popular some day. There used to be some history-bio here right where you are reading. But the past looked so boring -compared to what should come.
But still, we've been around for a few years, although we have changed a few members. During that time Shade Tree has moved from stripped down acoustic bedroom recordings to a slightly more electrified sound while letting the folky roots straying into soul and sucking up as much groove as possible.
Today we move, stand, play and sing funkier than ever - we even sleep funkier! Six new songs have recently been finished and recorded at Peekaboo Studio - and you will see new songs turn up on this page really soon.
