Shadonna Richards, RN is an inspirational author, speaker, registered nurse and former newspaper columnist with more than 250 published articles to her credit. Her work has appeared in the Toronto Star, the Toronto Sun, Metro—Toronto edition, Word Magazine and the Scarborough Mirror with a combined readership of 2 million readers. She is the author of A Gift of Hope: 52 Ways to Live a Better Life (Infinity Publishing) and Think & Be Happy: 365 Empowering Thoughts to Lift Your Spirit (Infinity Publishing). She is additionally a motivational speaker and registered nurse who provides compassionate care to terminally ill cancer patients. She firmly believes in the power of happiness, a skill we can all master. The former newspaper columnist has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and lives in Canada with her husband and son.
