About me: Hi, I am Capt. Jon Bull. Shadowcast Charters has been in operation since 2002. I have had the pleasure of helping anglers have great days on the water around the state. Some of the areas include Sarasota Bay, Tampa Bay, Indian River, and Jupiter Inlet. I specialize in fly-fishing and light tackle angling for snook, redfish, tarpon, and spotted sea trout. In the Mitzi 15, you will be sight casting to these fish in mere inches of water.
I have also been featured in several fishing publications. I have written articles for Florida Sport Fishing Magazine, Florida Outdoor Adventures Magazine and was featured in the Summer 2007 issue of the Lakeland Magazine (Lakeland, FL). I have given dozens of seminars which help to educate anglers on how they can improve their fishing experiences. This is the aspect of my job that love more than anything else. I love sharing what I have learned over the years and conveying that to fellow anglers. This passion for seminars led to the first annual Lakeland Fish & Dive Expo in March 2008. It was a great show that hosted some great vendors and guides giving seminars. The 2009 Lakeland Fish & Dive Expo was a HUGE success with three times as many booth vendors as 2008 and twice as many seminars. It was a great show and we raised over $1000 for CCA!!! The third annual Lakeland Fish & Dive Expo will be coming on 02/06/2010.
