Shadow Circus is:
David Bobick - Lead Vocals David was formally schooled in musical theater, performing in major theatrical productions across the U.S. in shows such as Guys and Dolls, Rags, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. But Dave is a rock and roller at heart, and picked up guitar and lead vocals in San Diego hard-rock band Hang 'em High.
As a founding member of Shadow Circus, Dave brings together his schooled melodic craft together with a raw, rocking style, and a flair for the theatrical.
John Fontana - Guitars, Keyboards
After spending his high school years hidden away in basement learning all the Yes, Rush, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd tunes that he could, John set out to join a band. The first project he joined presented a unique challenge: The band could not find a keyboard player, so John could only join if his guitar sounded nothing like a guitar.
With a new vocabulary of bizzarre sounds and effects, John played constantly on the New York live scene with innovative bands such as Persona Grata, Violet Love, Omnilingus, and Abandon Earth.
Not content with the musical rewards of the NY scene, John went "back to the shed" to study piano, and explore other genres of guitar playing. Discovering the limitless possibilities of composing and arranging on a computer, he set out to write the material for the first Shadow Circus album, Welcome to the Freakroom.

Jason Croft - Bass Guitar
Inspired by his brother's piano and guitar playing, Jason began playing keyboards at a young age and learned to play the upright bass at his middle-school's concert orchestra. Jason began playing bass guitar by age 12. While enjoying the mid-80s metal scene in Brooklyn, Jason embraced 70s-originated progressive rock bands, particularly Rush, ELP, and Kansas. After a few years of playing bass in various bands spanning classic rock to thrash-metal, Jason found the right outlet for his playing style and his interest in the metal scene in Serpent's Lair, the Brooklyn-based progressive metal band created by the genius of the late Jimi Plocica.
Over the next two decades Jason played bass as well as keyboards in various bands in the NYC area, including Johnny Sideways, joining forces with his brother John for the first time, and Somber, an acoustic guitar-based band where he first connected with Corey Folta.
Corey Folta - Drums and Percussion The son of a skilled jazz drummer, Corey began exploring the drums as a toddler, and grew up under his father's tutelage. He honed his craft during his high school years, until he later played heavily on the NY club scene with bands such as Persona Grata, and Mudfish. At this time, Corey also trained as an audio engineer.
Also a talented songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist, he expanded his talents with the band of his own creation called Product. Having composed, arranged, and playing most of the instruments himself, the band's first release is a testimony to Corey's broad range of talents.
