ShadowLord's musical style was shaped by many. Influences range from Led Zeppelin, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and UFO to Rainbow, Pat Travers and Gary Moore. The music is kind of a mixture of all of these with a little Metallica thrown in the mix. Eddie Van Halen, Michael Schenker, Jimmy Page and Richie Blackmoore have been big factors in my guitar sound and abilities.
ShadowLord, was created out of the rubble of many different heavy metal and hard rock bands, which I was a part of during the 80's and 90's. None of which got much recognition.
Big guitar sound, pounding rhythms, blazing lead guitars and haunting melodies describe this music well. Sorry, no upbeat, happy little songs here. ShadowLord is not a band. It is the misconception of one man, a few guitars, a digital workstation and a little imagination.
