Deftones, Alice in Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, Pantera and other hard rock/metal bands of that persuasion to name a few. Our influences are endless though. Just because we don't sound like them, doesn't mean we weren't influenced by them...

Unfortunately, Shadows In The Sun will no longer be gracing the stages of Binghamton...or anywhere else for that matter. We have all decided that we had a great run but things have come to a halt for our band. We wish to end this rag-tag fun loving crew as friends and walk away knowing that we tried but it just wasn't in the cards. Thank you first and foremost to any musicians that have been part of this band, past and present. You were all a stone in the foundation of what we created. Secondly, we'd like to thank all the bands we jammed with in the past. It was an honor and we're sorry we won't get the chance to do it again as Shadows In The Sun. Last but not least, we'd like to let the dedicated fans know how much they meant to us over the course of our career in this band. You guys were the reason we started this in the first place and you got us to our peak. Without all of you it wouldn't have been possible. Which is why we'll be leaving this site up as an R.I.P. fan page. It is our parting gift....
As a final note, we'd also like to wish the current members of Shadows In The Sun good luck with their future en devours and musical projects. They will no doubt be exceptional and worth taking a listen to. Someone once said: "it's better to burn out, than to fade away".... our fire burned til the bitter end. Goodbye everyone...
