I have a deep interest in video games. I like games with a good story behind them as well as good gameplay. That says a lot about a person, ya know...other than games, I like movies, weapons (especially bladed ones), art, combat, construction, destruction, and gadgetry. I like holidays, vacations, traveling, mountains, and the season of Fall. I like magic 8-balls, Axe body spray, tropical fish aquariums, eating at fun restaurant, and the Dallas Stars of the NHL. I like ravens, leather jackets, oil paint, chess, laser beams, Krusty the Klown, cats, fruit punch, fire, and the Sony Playstation franchise.I like text messaging. I like getting text messages. I like to drink, but I dont like being drunk. I like dogs, but only under heavy circumstances. I like being cynical, but only to make people laugh. I like to swim but open water frightens me. I want to be a hero, but I dont want the attention. I like my friends...and I wish I saw them more often...
Musik
First things first, I love music, BUT IT IS NOT MY LIFE. Alice In Chains is my favorite band. I like rock music, and most of the genres that stem from it. I don't tolerate much else very well.
Filmer
Clerks is my favorite movie. I like comedy, action, and Sci-fi.
TV
I rarely watch TV. rarely have the opportunity
Böcker
My favorite book is "The Bad Place" by Dean Koontz. I like horror novels. Im also a geek, so i like to read non-fictions about how-to-do stuff and how-stuff-works.
Hjältar
I no longer place my trust in anyone other than family. Too many 'friends' have forsaken my trust and good nature, which ends up only hurting me.
Om mig: My real name is David. I have so many aliases, I would prefer not to count. You can call me whatever you like, but it's up to me whether or not I will respond :) I like stuff. Stuff is good. People say I'm funny, so throw me a bone and laugh every now and then. I like to think I'm a pretty smart motherfucker, though I'm not exactly the best student. I like to record mock radio shows, so maybe some day I'll be using my voice for a living. Im not a suit-and-tie kinda guy...I dress really 90's grunge, but I clean up pretty damn nice. I really don't look my age, which pisses me off. I am a TEXAS MAN. Born and bred. I say "Y'all", "Ain't" and "Howdy" quite often. Ranch-style Beans and dry toast is one of my favorite meals. I like MEAT, I am not in any way shape or form against eating meat. I'd eat a pig's ass if it's cooked right. I don't have the accent very much, because my parents are from Cali-fuckin-fornia, and they never taught it to me.
um...thats pretty much it.
About me in games: I play a wide-variety of games. Games are pretty much my life. I'm not married, I don't have kids, and my job requires little responsibility. Games fill in those voids. I have a PSP, a PS2, and a 360. I play PC games when I have access to a good PC. I love FPS's. Call of Duty 4 (360) is my main focus in that area, but my favorite of all time is the original Quake. I've put in thousands of hours and over 11 years playing Quake 1. You'd think after all that I'd be godly at it...not quite. RPG's are fun. Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game of all time, hands down, no exceptions. It is for many people, and rightfully so. Its prequel, Crisis Core (PSP) has my attention. The original game (PSX) still consumes my time every so often as well. RTS's take up a great many hours of my life...but I never play them online. Why? Cause I simply don't care to waste hours and hours training and studying how to shave seconds of time off of building an army just large enough to capture your enemy who is probably still trying to gather enough resources to train his first troop. No thanks, not my idea of fun. Building huge fucking legions and tank armadas big enough to rival that of Hitler's Panzer division is how I play. I hate rushing. I take my time, I mass units, then I swarm in and decimate anything in my path. But no one plays that way, so I never have any fun and usually end up calling my opponent some crude names. Tiberium Wars (360) and Warcraft III (PC) get my playtime in that field. MMO's are a rare thing for me to play. I played World of Warcraft (PC) for about 2 years, from around the time Naxxramas was released til the time Zul'Aman was released. I played a Night Elf Warrior on the Norgannon realm named Shadowswift. After becoming bored with Karazhan and Horde raids, I shut down and haven't played since. I'm probably missing a lot of cool stuff...oh well. I may pick back up when Wrath of the Lich King comes out. Oblivion (360) gets played in the meantime. Last but not least, we have Action/Adventure...pretty broad topic, but the games I tend to play are all relatively built the same way. Third-person melee action with some magic and/or firearms mixed in. Games like God of War, Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and Dirge of Cerberus (all PS2) are some of my faves. I rarely ever play for competition. Sometimes I play competatively, but not for the purpose of competition. I don't really care about being better than everyone else. I just want to be better than I was last time I played. I like to experience how games work, how they function. I like to go back and discover new stuff that I didn't know was there before. I'm an adventurer, not a conquerer. It is because of this that I don't seek a career in professional game playing. I'm not a "cyber athelete". I'm just a gamer.
Jag skulle vilja träffa: People I can actually get along with. I don't want to meet jerk-offs or assholes. I can't stand liers and fakes. People that think that the whole world revolves around them make me want to vomit in my hat........I don't actually have a hat =/ I'm a little....well, anti-social, so meeting new people has never really been my strongest point. However, I get along with people from just about every clique, race, ethnicity, and social class, and I do like to meet new people and make new friends...I just ain't any good at it. I'm not wild about adding total strangers. Most of them just waste my time. However, if I seem like someone you think you want to know or you think you're someone I should know and should want to be friends with, send me a message and a request. If I'm convinced, I'll accept you. Quite honestly though, pretty much anyone who sends me a decent hello message before adding me gets accepted... On a related note, I do not particularly want to meet anyone who has their profile on private. I believe the purpose of having a myspace profile is so that people can see what kind of person you are and get to know you if they feel they like what they see. If you have yours on private, you are telling the world two things: I have all the friends I want right now, and I dont want to know you or you to know me. So, knowing this, if you have your profile set to private, I will not ever request to add you unless you are someone I already know. If I recieve a request from a privated profile, I will deny it, again, unless I already know you. I DO NOT ADD GROUPS, BANDS, PORN STARS, OR FRIEND WHORES. I dont know why im wasting my time typing that, the 4 above mentioned classes dont even look at peoples' profiles before adding them.
