Shadowveil is a metal band from Greece actively formed in the beginning of 2005 in the city of Rethymno, Crete. The metal genre of the band is not very specific, as it has influences from heavy, thrash, speed, nwosdm and others.
The promo cd was recorded in the end of 2005. Due to the lack of a recording studio the cd is a home recording on a pc with fake (samples) drums. The band though has a drummer and performs live. The purpose of this cd is to make possible for anyone to listen to our music.
The band, apart from the promo, has 3 more songs ready and is working on 5-6 more.
The base of the band is in Rethymno, Crete where all the members are students in ATEI (Supreme Technological Educational Institute) of Music Technology & Acoustics (www.teicrete.gr/mta).
At the end of 2007 the band decided to break up due to the change of residence of some members (see blog).
