Welcome to the Shadow Venger myspace page.
I am a London UK based guitarist/musician and this is my solo project consisting of guitar instrumentals and tracks with guest vocalists.
I first started using the stage name, Shadow Venger back in 2006 when I was playing in a Melodic Death Metal band . The name, Shadow Venger, is based characters from the cartoon Dungeons & Dragons, which I loved as a child. The other guy in the band was a Transformer :p
I took a much needed break from music for most of 2008 but then decided to put up some tracks here and promoted them in the hope that I would get scouted to join an already established band or artist.
At the end of 2009, I put up some of my private songs on another page. I called the project Venger's Diary. This project was something I had done in private since I was 14 as a way for me to express things I didn't feel comfortable talking about, like a diary, hence the name Venger's Diary. This project is more alternative rock than metal though. I spent most of 2010 focusing on that project.
I am now back focusing on this project and I have released some of my instrumental stuff on itunes and amazon and am currently working on some tracks which will feature guest vocalists. From here, I'm thinking of maybe moving into composing/song making instead of performing but I guess it depends on whether the right band comes along or not.
Before all this, I played in a band called Stand Aside (2000ish - 2006). We were sort of Metalcore with a progressive twist on some of the tracks. We weren't that good but all the tracks are free to download from that link if you want to check them out. We were much more of a live band.
Of course I was in a few bands before that even but they're weren't really significant enough to go into and I don't have any decent recordings either.
Well, that's it. I hope you like my work.
Thanks you guys
....
I aim to make something beautiful, passionate and expressive. In all my previous bands I never did the lyrics so I learned to express myself through music alone. I never aim to be 'brutal', I can play fast-ish if I want but I don't want to make 'noise'. Anyone can do that. It is much harder to honestly express yourself.

Influences:
I'm influenced mostly by personal events but also by movies/cartoons and guys like Bruce Lee. I would like to be the Bruce Lee of guitar, having 'the style of no style'.I aim to make something beautiful, passionate and expressive.
