SHADOZ EDGE FORMED ORIGINALLY IN AURORA, IL. NOW LIVING ALL OVER THE CHICAGO AREA THE BAND HAS RELEASED 3 FULL LENGTH CDs and a 7 song e.p. in 2008. THEIR FIRST RELEASE CAME IN 1993 WITH 'THE CAUSE OF CORRUPTION' SPAWNING REGIONAL RECOGNITION AND 2 MUSIC VIDEOS THE BAND APPEARED ON LOCAL MUSIC SHOWS AND MADE QUITE AN IMPRESSION. THEY SOON SIGNED WITH INDEPENDENT RECORDS AND RELEASED 'PORTRAYAL OF FEAR' IN JANUARY 1996. THEY THEN TOURED AND PLAYED WITH EVERYONE FROM QUIET RIOT, DISTURBED, FROM ZERO, TROUBLE, DANGEROUS TOYS, MALEVOLENT CREATION AND MANY MORE. AFTER TAKING A HIATUS THEY RETURNED IN 2002 WITH 'REINVENTION' A 15 TRACK CONCEPT ALBUM THAT TOOK THE BAND TO THE NEXT LEVEL. AFTER TOURING ONCE AGAIN FOR 3 YEARS THEY THEN DECIDED TO BREAK UP IN 2003 THEY RETURNED in 2006 AND RECORDED THE 2008 E.P. 'THE PLEASURE AND THE ANGUISH' AND PLAYED SOME REALLY FUN GIGS WITH TROUBLE AND OTHER AREA BANDS UNTIL FALL 2008 WHEN THE BAND SPLIT AGAIN TO WORK WITH OTHER MUSICAL PROJECTS. DAVE IS WORKING ON A NEW ORIGINAL BAND A MIX OF PUNK/ROCK/AND ALTERNATIVE CALLED 'SPARKPLUG ASSASSINS' AND HAVE RELEASED THEIR FIRST FULL LENGTH AND IN ADDITION HE IS STILL THE VOCALIST FOR 'ANGRY CHAIR' THE CHICAGO AREA'S PREMIERE ALICE IN CHAINS TRIBUTE ACT.
