As yet unsigned (but for how long?), up and coming Indie band Shakellers are set to take the music scene by storm with their new EP set for release shortly, preceded with an Oxfordshire, London and mini festival tour and a UK tour. Shakellers’ music is energetic with elements of dance, punk, indie and rock influenced by the likes of the Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Stranglers, The Kinks, that interweaves powerful and beautiful melodies throughout. Songs ranging from the haunting ‘Lucky Life’, funk-edged ‘Devils Eye’, festival anthems like ‘Parallel People’ and the to-Hell-with-it-all, dance-yourself-silly ‘Under Cover’ are sure to get people out of their seats - the Shakellers are the band not to miss! With catchy melodies and lyrics, solid beats and bass-lines, punchy guitars and a growing fan-base in Oxford and London, the Shakellers continue to reach out and inspire people with their songs and live performances.
