The magic of the 50's and 60's is reborn through this unique group of East Texas Women. They take you back to a simpler time of hoola hoops, poodle skirts, and saddle shoes. The oldies show group was conceived in September of 2006 by Tavie Spivey, fulfilling her lifelong dream to have an oldies singing group featuring the "girl songs" of the 50's and 60's. She formed the group just after she retired from a 27 year career in the Army.
In addition to Spivey, the group members are Kathy Sutton from Tyler, Brenda Spencer, from Henderson, and Spivey's sister, LeAnn Bemis from Longview. All ladies are in their 50's.
Since the inception of the group, they have won first place at the largest doo wop convention ever held in Las Vegas, the Cool Bobby B Doo-Wop Convention, which led to a recording contract with Memory Lane Music
West and the release of their CD in September 2008. They released their first CD on the Memory Lane Music West Label out of Las Vegas in September 2008 and have been heard across the country and other English speaking countries on XM5 satellite radio. They have also appeared on Channel 7's "Proud of East Texas", and been featured in Texas Highways Magazine.
They have averaged performing 85 shows a year since their inception and are growing every year.
