In early 2004, three fine fellows started the band, Shakespeare's Dead. They were Paul, Noah, and Jacob. Their last names cannot be mentioned because of the "accident." (that doesn't need to be repeated). They quickly evolved into an entertaining, funny local band followed by friends and fans. A year later, Jacob quit to go find himself. He left into the Congo, and was thought to be never seen again. Jacob was replaced with Dan Taylor. Dan never dreamed of being funny so Shakespeare's Dead virtually fell apart.
Just then, Jacob returned, a new man, and wanted to rejoin the band.
He told of the experinces he encountered and it changed all of their lives. They transformed into a more serious, new-wave indie rock band; however, the fans were not pleased. It seemed as if they could never escape their hilarious past. They were socially outcast for some time afterward. The band had no one to blame but themselves, and arguments began.
While walking with his girlfriend, Charlotte, Jacob was shot twice in the back outiside his appartment in New York by a man named David Mark Chatman. The 2 remaining members split up, never to see each other again. Now, one year after that horrible day, Shakespeare's Dead has reunited...except Noah didn't wish to be a part of it. So it's just Paul...Paul with a Drum Machine and Synth...and dancers! Since last year, Shakespeare's Dead has become a well-known act in Michigan. Get ready for audience participation, insane dancing, and totally wackiness unlike anything you've ever experienced! This is the Shakespeare's Dead Experience (This bio has been written by Banana!
