Proudly a non profit organisation supporting the development of young alternative talent and the continued growth of a healthy live scene. Established in September 2003 with over 500 kickass shows up our belt so far. Because mainstream just doesn't!

Shake That Noise presents Australia's finest alternative talent in a variety of genres including alternative rock, Progressive, indie, garage, experimental and electro. Avoiding the everyday and mainstream, we tend to promote and book artists who bring an individual twist to their chosen style. If you crave the unique and out of ordinary, check out the bands and get your lazy fat ass down to one of our gigs.
In support of The Starlight Children's Foundation, we sacrifice our promoter's fee for a donation for every set played at our gigs. Please visit their site, check out the great work they do and consider supporting by giving whatever you can.
Our success over many years in largely due to a culture of support and mutual respect among all involved in the scene. A community based culture where like minded artists and behind-the-sceners work together to keep both the music and the punters coming.
We're always looking for talented young people to come on board either as performers or behind the scenes so if you think you fit in with our culture and have something special to contribute, please get in touch. We don't do rock stars so if your ego needs trimming this probably isn't the right place for you.
We choose to book gigs exclusively at The Excelsior and The Annandale. With a reputation of ongoing support for alternative artists, great sound and vibe, top bar and food service and awesome crew... these are the two icons of Sydney rock and the venues of choice for both bands and punters alike.

Just a quick one for all the shake that noise crew thanks for being an integral part of the sydney live music scene and helped us on a personal level to be able to grow and develop as a band.... all the best to a crew that gave the little guys a good run both musician and punters alike!!
Red Remedy are rocking the Annandale hotel on Friday September 17 to launch their debut release ‘Oblivion’. Put it in your diary and print off the flyer. Stick it on ya fridge. Should be a cracker!
