About me:
Im a 39 year old father of four. Recently seperated and getting divorced(Not by choice. After 12 years, she found someone who fit her needs more than me...People change I guess, what can you do. In 2002 I was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease. Shakey is a nickname I gave myself to let others know that Im ok with it. My attitude towards my condition effects how others deal with it. I dont feel sorry for myself or ask "Why me". Getting down or depressed wont make it go away. So, I stay active...I push myself every day and try to squeeze the most outta life that I can. I still play sports, Softball & basketball among others. Im still competitive, I have to be...the people I play with are much younger than me...I have to protect my pride...lol. Ive been told that I am a patient person, I try to be. I am a good listener and can usually find the positives in most situations. I try to treat people fairly. I realize that its whats inside that counts most.
