my super short bio:
christoph shakthar was born 1978 in a small town in austria:
i started djing in 1992 named doc H ego in austria but soon i got bookings in other countries. my mc and singer activities started 1995 as mc valium with the hiphop formation "die breite oeffentlichkeit" which was a part of the "inn-donau-reimachse".
i started organising parties on the 16.dec.94 with the (as far as i know) first crossover party in austria [crossover-no trespassing]. 96 after a lot of crossover and hiphop parties i began with electronic influenced events like the [inferno] or the [sonic-festival]. most of the events i did in company with http://www.kuprosauwald.org .
after a few years traveling through europe doing live mixing for bands and djing i settled down in cologne where i lived 5 years and did for.e.g the engeneering in the sensor club but also in many other venues...
in summer 2005 i moved to the island of crete in greece.
there i was part of the monte christo crete artist-apartments

in july 06 i moved back to austria, where i now search for new chances to do some concerts and events .

DJ Andros is introducing his radio show, called "Musica Progressiva" on the internet radio station Liquid. FM. On every first Monday in the Month he will present DJ's playing Progressive and House Music. The next guest I am inviting the Norwegian DJ Mikkas and the Danish Lars B better known as Djuma Soundsystem. A couple of years ago, in the midst of all the etnic inspired cliche' Ibiza compilations and all the afro-house, Mikkas and Lars B sat down with Their friend Disse and asked themselves this question: is it not possible to make something less cheesy that still works on a floor? The result they came up with was "Les Djinns", and Djuma Soundsystem was born. "Les Djinns", the most sold track on Beatport ever...
