Rock n Roll and music as a whole! We're always looking for gigs and are prepared to travel if its worth our while! Cars, bikes, trikes, planes and trains! Well maybe not trains!
Music
Generally we're into all types (see above). Enjoy a mix of old and new. Oasis im a big fan of, The Verve were good when together, Fratelli's, Razorlight, Blur, Stereophonics etc. But we'll always love the older stuff, The Beatles, Status Quo, The Who, Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughn etc etc
Movies
Cant speak for all but I like all the Die Hard films, The Godfather collection, Dumb n Dumber, The Bourne Identity/Supremacy etc
Television
Telly is crap, but Match of The Day and Top Gear are good, Shameless can be very funny at times too.
Books
The books i read tend to be about the internals of various motor vehiculars as i am a mechanic, and have been for 34 years.
Heroes
All the Shaky Ground boys, all our families and friends. Mike Holland for our website www.shakyground.co.uk and his other 2 as well, www.edfc.co.uk (football) and www.thcf.co.uk (classic Fords). Find him on www.myspace.com/edfc_legend.
About me: Hello all. We are Shaky Ground, a Rock n Roll band based in the South West London and Surrey area. We've been to together for about 3 years now and have played quite a few gigs in Pubs, Bars and Social Clubs, for different events such as engagement parties, New Years Eve and football team do's. Most of our band members are on the wrong side of 50, but mentally still 21. We have our own website at www.shakyground.co.uk, where more details and pics exist for your entertainment.
Who I'd like to meet: Our band has many influences, from Blue's artists to Rock n Roll bands. The Beatles, Papa George, Thin Lizzy, Status Quo, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Oasis. If we could all meet up and talk music im sure the lads would enjoy. Mite chuck Abi Titmuss in there for our drummer Steve MacKenzie ;).
