Shakyfoot music has stood the test of time. Jason Scolnick and Bob Gobron began playing together in Boston over a decade ago. While the original incarnation of the band existed for less than a year the core of songs developed in that period never lost their appeal, their intensity, their honesty. Proving while styles come and go everyone still loves a good rock song.
The addition of drummer Charlie Silva provides Shakyfoot with a new brother in arms. He has "hopped on the wagon" with both feet and brings skills honed at Berklee and an artistic sense far beyond his years.
Shakyfoot is now set to rocket into the upper stratosphere of the indie rock music scene. Their EP is set for release and will soon be in the hands of industry types and radio people all over the country. Their live sound has begun to take on other-worldly dimensions generating more fans with every show.
Shakyfoot is committed to bringing their music to as many ears possible. While plans are in the works for recording a full album, they are gearing up to log many miles and meet many, many new fans at shows throughout the northeast this spring and summer. Check back often for news and show updates.
