"What a curse of ignorance on the west that wherever we have gone, when we see people living symbiotically with their land without dominating it, we find we cannot respect them, we see them as subhuman for not exploiting what could be exploited. What a tragedy for the earth that history has given us the power in our terrible stupidity to destroy everything in our path, wiping out forever what was tenderly nurtured for centuries."

EQUAL EYES LP - Hospital Productions
"The first full length of this heavily active live unit from providence, ri. there is no solid footing in shallow waters. only a suffocating hail of falling rock, strangling vines, and sinkholes. it is with rare exception that voice spits the last of breaths, the dying breaths, with such spite. like a rabbit trapped in the hole of the snakes throat, this duo comprised of members of immaculate:grotesque and em dath rir batter and tear there way through 6 tracks of power electronics eco-fallout and revolutionary anger. although there is not one moment of relief in this litany of rage shallow waters separates themselves from the pack by creating what an album and not just a collection of tracks with the focus of a sniper and the fury of napalm. get into the fight." - Hospital Productions.com
"Shallow Waters present you with an onslaught of extreme, politicised noise, barking lyrics at you, whose content comes from newspaper clippings, socialist historical documents and even the poetry of exiled Black Panther and revolutionary Assata Shakur. It's quite unusual to encounter a noise record that has any agenda at all, let alone one that outlines it so lucidly. Fear not though, this is no lecture: Equal Eyes is still a mighty torrent of confrontation, clearly inspired by the likes of Whitehouse in its combination of ear-shredding electronic clamour and vocals. The manner in which these vocals are delivered gives even the most punishing of black metal death-grunters a run for their money, Rob Hill pouring his modulated, distorted scorn over you like a particularly cranky Dalek. Once again, Hospital proves itself a definitive bastion of the most articulate and acerbic power electronics around." - Boomkat.com
"Power electronics with bleeding throat yelling over distorted grimey whomp. Lyrics, unusually, are culled from black panther poetry, century-old communist pamphlets, other anti-govt sources. Band's from Providence & singer also has a rather endearing tendency to cover his eyes when he shrieks into the mic, as though he can't stand to look at the world's many atrocities." - Weirdo Records

"Personally I'm in favor of democracy, which means that the central institutions in the society have to be under popular control. Now, under capitalism we can't have democracy by definition. Capitalism is a system in which the central institutions of society are in principle under autocratic control. Thus, a corporation or an industry is, if we were to think of it in political terms, fascist; that is, it has tight control at the top and strict obedience has to be established at every level -- there's a little bargaining, a little give and take, but the line of authority is perfectly straightforward. Just as I'm opposed to political fascism, I'm opposed to economic fascism. I think that until major institutions of society are under the popular control of participants and communities, it's pointless to talk about democracy....capitalism is basically a system where everything is for sale, and the more money you have, the more you can get. And, in particular, that's true of freedom. Freedom is one of the commodities that is for sale, and if you are affluent, you can have a lot of it. It shows up in all sorts of ways. It shows up if you get in trouble with the law, let's say, or in any aspect of life it shows up. And for that reason it makes a lot of sense, if you accept capitalist system, to try to accumulate property, not just because you want material welfare, but because that guarantees your freedom, it makes it possible for you to amass that commodity. [...] what you're going to find is that the defense of free institutions will largely be in the hands of those who benefit from them, namely the wealthy, and the powerful. They can purchase that commodity and, therefore, they want those institutions to exist, like free press, and all that." - noam chomsky
I am now recording for a new set of releases called the "Persona Series". These cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content, but by payment) for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him (Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection, and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including shipping), and will be shipped in its completed form no later than 6 weeks from the date of purchase!!!
