The majority of my ipod is taken up by Prince and R. Kelly. Prince - the ultimate musician, our generation's Motzart. He makes the music that moves my soul, makes me smile, makes me cry, makes me happy, and makes me wanna shake my ass.
R. Kelly, the representation of my ghetto girl side. His music makes me wanna bump and grind and get my freak on. Nothin' gets me in the mood like a good R. Kelly track. What he does with his private life doesn't concern me, I just love love love the music.

I like romantic comedies, reading a book by the fire and watching the ocean do its magic. The toilet paper roll has to go over, and I have to use liquid laundry detergent. I have a trepidation about the number 13, and have to keep an even number of fish in my aquarium. I am A FREAK about my hands being wet, and I have to instantly dry them. The only time this doesn't apply is when I am swimming. My toes have to be painted, I never zip my purse and I can't get through a single day without music.
I am addicted to MAC make up and Aveda face products. I always have some sort of make up on, and even go to bed with it on. I have used every eyelash curler and mascara on the planet and can't imagine not wearing lip liner. My hair is straight as a pin and won't hold a curl for nothin. I have to buy my bras at Fredericks of Hollywood, but I wait til they are on sale. I don't buy anything full price and can sniff a bargain like no one's business.
I hate when people are in the restroom, stand up, flush the toilet and THEN pull up their pants. I mean, what if your toilet starts to overflow? UGH! Pull up your pants first and just before walking out, then you flush! I also hate when someone sits down, grabs paper and then pees... wtf is that? Also, don't turn the water on and wet one hand and walk out... u might as well just not turn on the water at all because we BOTH know you didn't wash your hands!
I hate people with double-standards, I despise people who smile in your face and ACT like a friend, then do some foul shit behind your back. I hate when people send text messages to say Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy Easter, etc., if I actually crossed your mind, then pick up the damn phone and make a call!
I hate people that take advantage of the elderly, rob the homeless, and I hate the homeless who claim they are hungry and then throw the food away as you are driving away. If you need a drink or a hit, be real with your shit and say so! Don't throw that bean burrito I bought you in the garbage while I can still see you, you ingrate!
I am obsessed with Coach purses, Bandolino shoes and the show Big Brother. I only buy Charmin toilet paper, and I am terrible about maintenance for my car. I only buy Hoover vacuums and I pierced my tongue because my husband told me "I wasn't allowed to." I bowl league, but that is the extent of my sporting activities. I decorate my kitchen table for each holiday, even though no one comes over. I wish I had a different eye color, a smaller butt, smaller boobs, and next weeks winning lottery numbers. I believe in fate, soul mates, and love at first sight. I am a hopeless romantic who actually believes marriage should be a partnership.
I love it when a man looks me in the eyes, loves to kiss, wears cologne, has a nice smile, and who isn't afraid to laugh. I hate when people take themselves too seriously and just don't let go and have fun. My weakness is a black man in a white shirt... awww lawwwwd!
I think women are incredible and beautiful. I wish we would stand up and support one another instead of being haters, backstabbers and liars. I think its true that women dress nice, wear nice shoes and carry $300.00 purses for other women, cuz men surely don't know the difference. All they want is your Baby Phat jeans crumpled up on the floor by the end of the night!!! All women should know and obey by the girlfriend code. Those that don't aren't worth your friendship or your time. If its more important for your friend to fuck your man than to be true to you, what kind of friend is she to begin with?
I hate people that one-up you, or think that everything is about them. I have a right to put whatever I want on my page, and hate to have to make it private because silly people obsess over whether it pertains to them or not. Is making my page private an an easy fix? Absolutely, but so is them going away and leaving me alone.
I have learned to embrace those that I love with the strongest arms possible. My mother died from a heart attack without warning and my father survived lymphoma at 79 years old. Never give up on the ones you love because someday the love you carried for them will makes sense to them when they least expect it.
I was raised in San Jose, California, and relocated to Fresno in 2000. I miss my friends in the bay and travel back whenever I can.
I am the proud mother of two adopted children. There are children out there who will never know what it is to have a parent. Adoption has fulfilled us as parents and allowed us to fulfill the lives of two children, who otherwise might not have had any opportunities in life. If you have the ability, think about adoption. If you wanna know about it, please ask! Help create forever families.
As if you can't tell from my page, I am a HUGE Prince fan. Its not about sex, or thinking he is fine, or any other stereotypical thing like that. It is about the music. The songs that have been through different periods of my life, the songs that move my soul. He is the ultimate musician. I have seen Prince in three different states and I am not sure how many times. I know it is over 50, but I lost count YEARS ago. I was lucky enough to travel to Minneapolis, where he lived and his studios are, three different times.
In my travels and love of his music, I have met some incredible people, who luckily became friends. Two of my best friends, including the Maid of Honor at my wedding, were met through Prince. I guess that was just an added bonus to his amazing music. Don't ask me my favorite song, or what my favorite concert was, because that is IMPOSSIBLE!

Who I'd like to meet: I have met people from all walks of life, people from different countries with different interests, different views on life, etc. That is what makes this world special and unique. We all have things to learn from one another. Sometimes really listening to someone else when they speak can be incredibly rewarding and you just may learn something about yourself.
