    for the moment, i'm really into easy, simple, quiet, low key and not much. i'm a fan of sitting on porches, puttering around the house on Sunday mornings and have lost all ability to sleep past 8am. i like having time to have time...for whatever...or nothing at all.

    I have seriously schizophrenic taste in music. I just caught myself listening to Dolly Parton and Japanese kabuki back to back this morning. Other faves include: Violent Femmes, Jean Ritchie, Adrienne Young, Hem, David Gray, bad 80's, Jay Ungar, David Bowie, Waterboys, the Dixie Chicks especially after the death threats, Indigo Girls, Scissor Sisters, Lily Allen, and locally The Secret Commonwealth (always and forever i love you) and The Exotic Ones.

    Hmmmm. Maybe I'm just schizo in general. Faves: Pee Wee's Big Adventure OF COURSE, 2001, Close Encounters, Stranger Than Fiction, The Godfather I & II, The Wizard of Oz, Labyrinth, Sound of Music, 4 Rooms (but really only the bit with the dead hooker and the kids ), Ken Burns' Lewis & Clark documentary, The Color Purple, Love Actually, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter sequals, Elf.
