Q: How did you meet?A: Shame About Ray have been together as a band since June 2005 and then with newest addition Simon since around March 2006.
Mark and Robyn originally met and school but have played bass and guitar together for 2 years and then met Ray by chance. They practised a couple of times defore deciding that they all got on well and would like to find a singer.
A search began!
After probing a couple of people about their singing abilities and 'auditioning' one person, Simon popped along for a practice and it just "worked"
Q:Where does the name Shame about Ray come from?A: Ray, Mark and Robyn went to a party where they asked some friends to think of a name. They jokingly suggested Shame about Ray and it just stuck. We cosidered things like 'Witness protection' and 'Scarred for Life' but by this time, everyone was calling us SAR.
