mogwai saw the broken social scene sending a letter via the postal service cause they want a lovedrug for their velvet teen's chemical romance. isnt it a green day to watch mates of state out on the fields together with god speed you black emperor in a death cab for cutie. and you will know us by the trail of dead when you see some explosions in the sky but minus the bear and with pedro the lion. did you know that sahara hotnights saves the day with a bad religion and thats a beautiful mistake. the weakerthans had their sundays best when thursday was near but they felt like taking back sunday cos thats their story of the year. the stills and the stone roses got ready at the starting line together with the smiths whereas sigur ros were under a shelter hanging out with rainer maria singing to the ramones. weird isnt it?
The music can be sweet, melodic, loud and discordant, but either way, always fun and unexpected. Be prepared to smile, dance, and sway to our music. The concept started out with a couple’s dream in mid 2004 inspired by ‘Mates of State’. Together with their good friend JR Cinco, they formed their own brand of instrumental music which is ShameJoannShame.
With a wide range of musical influences and backgrounds the band has many surprises in store and making music is a challenge to fit the different pieces of the puzzle together. It results in a complex assortment and a fusion of pop, indie, rock, classical, electro and sometimes even metal! We’re organized chaos and we love it!

Unfortunately, G'on Amber is on a hiatus. But the rest of its band members have some other side project bands. Nizam, of course, is with Fishtank and Plain Sunset. Borhan, is currently playing with Jazz And Mosh (J.A.M). So look out for J.A.M's 5-track EP by year end. And so, J.A.M hopes to share the same stage with S.J.S for future shows! So rock on!
PS: Remember the show @ PoW last year? Well, it was an "indie-rock" set indeed, wasn't it, Sham? Heh!
