The "Black Irish" chapter of the Shamrocks Motorcycle Club is located in the Mid-Hudson Region of New York State. We were formed in the summer of 2006 and take part in events held throughout New England and beyond.
Originally founded in Vermont as a club for Federal Law Enforcement Officers, the Shamrocks MC is now a motorcycle club with membership containing and open to all US law enforcement officers without regard to level of government. The Shamrocks MC is a nonprofit organization designed to promote brotherhood between all members of our nation's law enforcement community. The Shamrocks MC is also committed to the service and support of organizations that assist with law enforcement, veteran, and select charity issues, as well as supporting the efforts of other allied motorcycle clubs. We are bonded by history and united by principles.
The Shamrocks MC honor and swear a solemn oath to defend and protect the constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic.
Although not a club requirement, 99% of our club members claim and are proud of their Irish heritage and traditions.
This club is non-territorial and does not support other clubs in commercial enterprises.
