    Shanachie Pub has over 18 imported and micro-brews and ales on tap, along with a vast selection on wines, organic sodas, vitamin waters and more! We feature an Open Mic Night every Wednesday starting at 8:40 at which our large pool of local musicians attend, and feature live music from everywhere imaginable every Thursday through Saturday night, and are closed on Sundays.     Shanachie Pub policy for entertainers: We look forward to your show at the Shanachie Pub in Willits located behind the Purple Thistle Restaurant on 50 S. Main St. In Willits! Upon arrival, you may pull into the alley just north of the Purple Thistle Restaurant and Burrito Exquisito and enter through the wooden gate to unload your gear, then pull your vehicle out and find parking. The Pub opens at 3 pm each day, and you're welcome to arrive any time after that, but please come a minimum on one hour before your scheduled start time to unload and sound check. Unless otherwise arranged, start time on weekends is either 8 or 9 pm depending on the genre, and week nights at 6 pm. A sound engineer will not be provided for you (unless otherwise arranged) so be prepared to have someone in your crew be able to operate our board. We provide a 12 Channel Mackie, two monitors, 4 mic stands, 2 microphones, & cables (always good to bring some just in case) and two speakers are in place above the stage area. We do not provide a backline, no drums, no amps etc. Instructions to operate the board if needed are taped to the wall next to the board itself. If help is still needed, call me at 707 972-7059. We offer no guarantees, and do not charge a cover. Bands will receive 15% of the bar from 8 pm until you stop playing (Fridays and Saturdays only unless otherwise arranged for a special occasion). Small acoustic groups, duos or soloists performing on weeknights play for tips only. All musicians receive 2 complimentary drinks from the bar of their choice. This does not include managers, girlfriends etc. but musicians may give their drink tickets to whomever they choose. We do not provide food or lodging. Accomodations are availible at a discount for our performers at Baechtel Creek Inn & Spa (707) 459-9063, The Old West Inn (707) 459-4201, and the KOA Campground (707) 459-6179, just let them know you're performing at our venue when you call and ask for the discount. There is also a hostel available located within walking distance right around the corner from the Pub which offers a bed, hot shower and hot coffee in the morning for $10. per person. Call Marsha to arrange for this at (707) 318-7252. Advertising will be done in the form of online networking, radio, print and e-mails to our list of 400. Posters can be sent to me at 65 South Main St. Willits Ca. 95490 NOT to the Pub as they may not reach me in time.
