"I live my life one day at a time, God is my hope and reason for grinding” proclaims SHANA-MAY JACKSON Ever since this 21 year old pop/r&b songstress of African American & Filipino descent from Orange County can remember, she was inspired by a variety of talented stars such as Janet Jackson,TLC, Aalyah, Paula Abdul just to name a few. “I'm next!" she says. Shana May Jackson combined song and dance with a sexy attitude and moved to Los Angeles where she began her journey to becoming a superstar!
Pursuing her dream is exactly what SHANA-MAY JACKSON began to do at an early age. At the age of 9 she began winning local talent shows and performing in dance competitions. At the age of 14 she formed a girls singing group, but later realized that her dedication to become a star was not matched by her group members and opted to go solo for the first time. SHANA-MAY JACKSON was focused on sharpening her skills as a performer instead of partying like everyone her age. “I knew back then I wasn’t missing out on the fun and that once I made it, I would get to wild out!”
With limited resources, and only a small network to people involved in the music business, SHANA-MAY JACKSON knew she had to get her foot in the entertainment door some way. It didnt take her long to decide to maximise on her potentianl and attack all possible avenues to get to the top using all her talents in dance, song-writing, modeling, and hosting.
