About me:

I am in college pursuing a career in health care/public health/medical anthropology...a strange combo of all three. I eventually want to work with humanitarian relief agencies that serve at risk and undersreved populations. Eventually there will be a Master's degree involved or my PA or MSN. :) Helping people through medicine one of those things that I have not been able to escape...and there are those of you who are thankful for my skills at times...:) .... .. I like to read the comics in the newspaper...or even better ... online. That way I get a week of them at once. I'm a big fan of Get Fuzzy and F Minus. .. .. I like to spend time with people who are important to me. I like to meet new people. There's always something new to learn from them. .. .. Food is my love language - it's number 6 in the book...hehe. I cook frequently in my free time. I really enjoy it and my friends like me for it. I can't wait to have my own house so I can have people come and visit for dinner to my heart's content. .. .. In my free time, I dance - ballet, jazz, lyrical, and the like. Dance is expression and my art. I'm not claiming to be the best, but I enjoy it and that's what matters to me. I think if life had been a bit different I probably would have auditioned for Julliard or the like and tried to make a career of it. Now I do it because I love it! .. .. If you want to get to know me, you have to keep up. I'm almost always diong something or going somewhere. So, what else you ask? Ask...I don't know what else to write. I'm not sure there is much more. .. .. Test me, O LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in your truth. ~ Ps. 26:2-3

Who I'd like to meet:

Interesting, normal people - conversationalists are always cool. People I haven't talked with in awhile...I know that's not technicallly meeting you, but it's like meeting again.

    Hey!! So I just spent like 45 minutes catching up reading all of your webpage blogs about Tanzania the other day... and I've been missing you like crazy ever since. By the way, you are a fantastically entertaining writer, and should really consider making a book out of your blogs. It could be an anthropological memoir. You really sound like you are learning so much and enjoying the culture. I think of you and pray for you often.

    it's just an adult dance class in puyallup. i'm really excited, though, cause we're gonna do different kinds of dance for 3 weeks at a time (ballet, jazz, modern, etc).
    i've never done modern, so i'm really, really excited for that segment!!!
